The oil field discovered in Iran was the first one found in the Middle East. This is important to the countries in the Middle Easr as oil is a major part of Ecenomy and Industry in all parts of the world, hightly contributing to the wealth of Iran and other countries in the Middle East. -
Hussein-McMahon Correspondence
This correspondence were a pledge from the Aarab peoples to the Britich of creating an independant Arab state of which is free from the control of the Ottomans. The Arabs also agree to supporting the British against the Ottomans. This shows how the Arabs have a sense of unity and familiarity to one another. -
Muslim Brotherhood
The social youth club was created by Hassan Al-Banna in Egypt and attracted large numbers of the Egyptian youth, although it later evolves into a political inforcing the rules of Islam violently on people, which reflects a bad image representing Islam around the World. -
White Paper
The white paper of 1939 is when Britain declares that the Jewish immigration to Palestine should be limited, although it is a little too late for that. -
The League of Arab States
The league of Arab states; Transjordan, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Iraq, Lebanon, and Syria are all joined in Egypt to negotiate Arab independance and being an obstacle for Israel by creating campaigns and groups who completely cut off any relations with Israel, This is a major step the Arabs take as a united hand to get a free Palestine; showing we can make a difference. -
UN is handed over the control of the Zionest movements
The British mandate hand over the Israeli-Palestinian conflict over to the UN. The Jews want to cancel the White Paper of 1939 limiting Jewish migration. And by 1948 violent attacks are held by the Israelis against the Palestinians, most Palestinians fled or were expelled from their own homes and land. This in my eyes is the major incident in which the Palestinians were completely vanished from Palestine showing that the Jewish power was and still remains the strongest, -
Green line
A green line is set out between Israel and the West Bank&Gaza strip, Also, Jerusalem is no longer international land, but it's given to the Israelis; this caused religious conflicts because of the Mosque located in Jerusalem and the lands of it being holy to many religions. Transjordan also became the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. -
PLO; Palestinian Liberation Organization
The PLO is created to be the Political representative of the Palestinian people. This gives the Palestinian people a voice that can be heard around the world, although it is minor, it is bette rthat simply not being heard. -
Peace Treaty
A Peace contact is signed between Jordan and Israel, securing the Jordanian people of fright from any Israeli attack. -
1999
King Hussein dies from Cancer, and King Abdullah is crowned the new King of Jordan. This is important to thte Jordanian citizens for having a sense of nationality and knowing that there will always be a role model to guide them.
