    The Monroe Doctrine was issued by the United States, keeping all foreigners out of the Western Hemisphere. This halted the colonization of South America.

    The Opium wars were the war between China and Great Britain. Great Britain wanted to trade with the Chinese, but the Chinese did not want anything from the Brits. So the Brits decided to trade them opium, which they then got addicted to leading to a lot of the trading, but they later realized what had happened, and it sparked a war.

    This rebellion started because of the mutiny that the British had done to them. The british would make their cartridges and line them with beef and pork fat which was against their religion.

    Leopold was a dictator of this colony forcing slaves to collect rubber and ivory. If they did not however have enough rubber or ivory they would have to pay the rest of it in hands.
