Queen Victoria crowned Empress of India
Queen Victoria was crowned the Empress of India, which gave Great Britain absolute rule over India. G.B. was now able to call India one of there own, and they did so without provoking any violence. -
Boer War
The Boer War was a war between the Boers and the British and was the first modern total war. The Boers tried keeping outsiders from gaining political rights, which led to the war.
