    November 24, 1881 Angel island. I arrived on Angel island today and they say that i won't get through this place fast it could take up to a year since i'm chinese, but i'm willing to bide my time and wait for a chance to get to the land of the free.

He told me it was christmas so i asked what was christmas and he told me that it was a time when all men and women were treated fairly and as equals and then he said he would me stay in the inn tonight for free i then thanked him kindly and went up to my room.

I was walking around looking for work when the kind gentleman bumped into me and i asked him do how a job i could do and he said yes and told me that this would pay my stay, food, and 4 a month in a personal jar for clothes and other essentials i galdy agreed to the offer and got a rod and reel and started my job as a fishermen.
