The beguinning
This is the day i was born. April 26th, 1823. I was born in Moscow Russia and lived most of my childhood life there. Many of my friends still live in Russia to this day. -
10th birthday
today is the day i turn ten! YAY! -
Collage? Graduation from High School?
I have graduated Highschool and plan to be going to a collage in St.Peters. to study Construction and Economics. -
Packing and leaving
June 30th 1843. i am 23 years of age and i am leaving my home contry to go to America. I hope to find a better lifestyle and to find a job as soon as possible to support myself. -
Arival
today is the day i arive at Ellis Island. i have spent nine days at sea before we hit land. We later got off the boat and walked into the Imagration Station. where we were checked for any disease or sickness and then we walked through the lines... waiting impatently for 6 hours just to get close to the end.. (100 people or more or less) -
My new job.
today i start my new job. I am now working on a sky scraper... the whites say that it is going to be called the empire state building. -
Moving?
Today i have wondered if i can find a better house. i live in New York and i am in need of moving to a more peaceful area. Although i am also in need of a job that pays more. -
Almost fell?
Today i had almost died. To this day we are still building "The Empire State Building" and are at floor 96. I was working on floor 96 and a gust of wind had nearly blown me off when i was transitioning from one side to another. Nobody really seemed to notice that i was in danger when i was transitioning. But i am just lucky to be here writeing in my journal. -
end of the road.
Today is the day i die. Feb. 21st. 1873. today is the last day on The Empire State Building. floor 102. 3:21pm. A 60MPH wind had came through New York that day. Most people were okay at the time. out of 50 men. 3 of them had fallen. i was one of them. At the age of 50 i have died by something that is ecential to humans. air. My body was later transported back to Russia were i was burried where my parents were. a cemetary in St. Peters.
