Well, if this did not happen then the rest of my life would not have happened.
-
When I was little, my parents were not around all that much. She took care of me every day after school and I have always had a huge soft spot for her
-
She is the one who gave birth to me and has always been a big part of shaping me into the person I am today
-
Even though we don't exactly get along all the time, my dad has always been there for me. He helps me in any way he can
-
These were some of my close friends when I was in elementary school and some of my earliest memories all include them
-
He has always been the one who has pushed my limits and encouraged me to always find adventure
-
Even though she has never been a huge part of my life, she is one of the few people in my family that is actually sane. She has always been there for me and wanted what was best for me
-
Unfortunately, he can be a bit of a pain, but his life and mine will always be connected and I appreciate and love him for that
-
Total pain (as all siblings are) but I still love him
-
One of my earliest memories (funnily enough) was me listening to my pre-K 4 teacher recommend to my parents that I should be held back because of my late birthday. They did not, and I began school! This was the start of my formal education and when I really started growing.
-
She is one of my grandmother's close friends and ever since I was little, she decided that since she would never have grandkids, that I and my brother would be her grandkids instead. She has taught me so many important life lessons and always believed in me.
-
My mom felt like God had always been calling her to homeschool my brother and me, but she did not want to. Eventually, after I was done with third grade, she listened and pulled me out. Homeschooling is one of the things that changed my life because it gave me my true foundation in learning.
-
My parents had decided that that the best thing for us was to experience another culture outside of our own. I was only supposed to be here for 2 years and now we are coming up on 7.
-
She is my youth pastor and probably one of the most influential people in my life. I call her my Jesus therapy because she is one of the few people I am genuinely ok talking about my issues with and helps guide me through them
-
The Philippines is a part of me and my culture that I sometimes forget is a part of who I am. I never really grew up with that much of a strong Filipino heritage, but the first time I went was amazing because it let me experience the place that half of me calls home.
-
She is my best friend and probably knows more about me than anyone else. She helps me through everything and is my rock
-
She used to be my only close friend, but her friendship was super toxic to me and kinda like emotionally scarred me for awhile??? idk
-
In 7th grade I took an earth science class that I kinda hated, but we spent half of the year in chemistry. That was what made me realize how much I love it and wanted to spend the rest of my life doing it
-
For a really long time, I continued being homeschooled even though I hated it and knew that I could leave whenever I wanted to. But because I was afraid of going back to school and everything that comes with it plus I thought that the ability for me to learn everything at my own pace was what was best for me. But eventually, I stopped prioritizing my happiness over all of that and have never looked back.
-
Even though I accepted Christ a long time ago, it was super significant when I made my public declaration of my love for Jesus

I wouldn't even be doing this assignment if it was not for this. ICS has changed the way I view events and people and is one of the biggest things that have shaped me.
