Now...The SECOND OPIUM WAR (yay... :( )
It started when China said "Oh Geez, we only just noticed that the Nanking Treaty is really unfair! Let's try and get rid of the Brits and take back HK even though we only have spears and they have guns, but who cares?!" This ended in tons of losses for the Chinese which included the burning of The Summer Palace. The French only came into the war when Auguste Chapdelaine was executed. -
