    Starting in the 13th century, the Holy Roman Emperor's began getting elected by small groups of nobles.

    MIng Taizu founded the Ming Dynasty

    Portuguese capture Cueta, starting an empire

    In August of 1415, Portugal captured Cueta and it marked an important step at the beginning of the Portuguese Empire in Africa.

    Mexica Started Conquering an Empire

    In 1428, the Mexica laughed an array of conquests that led to the creation of an empire. By 1500, they had conquered over 450 altepetl in Modern Mexico.

    End of Zheng He's Voyages

    Zheng He was apart of some of the most memorable voyages in Chinese history. He voyaged from 1405-1433.

    Pachakuti launches Inca Conquests

    In 1438, Inca ruler, Pachakuti, took power in the capital of Cuzco and led his armies to conquer lots of territory by the Andes.

    The Hundred Year's War ended in 1453 and the French won

    Ottoman Empire Conquest of Constantinople

    The Ottoman's took of new weapons using gunpowder in 1400. They demonstrated this use of the new gunpowder technology in 1453 when they conquered Constantinople.

    The end of Reconquista happened as a result of the capture of Granada.

    Akbar becomes Mughal Emperor

    Akbar became Mughal's emperor in 1556 and he is known to be one of the greatest emperors in India to date.

    In 1613, the Russian nobles offered royal power to Mikhail Romanov
