    Constantine thought that Rome was too far awa from its frontiers too be an effective capitol. It took six years to turn Byzantium into Constantinople. Byzantium was an ideal spot for the new capitol of the empire because it had easy access to Danube and Euphrates frontiers, making it an perfect spot for the emperor to rest his head.

    Justinian was an emperor of the Byzantine Empire. He was adopted by his uncle to become his heir to the thrown. He is thought as to be the last roman emperor to speak latin as a primary language, earing him the name the ''last roman''.
