    Cave Paintings

    "Cave or rock paintings are paintings painted on cave or rock walls and ceilings, usually dating to prehistoric times. Rock paintings have been made since the Upper Paleolithic, 40,000 years ago. It is widely believed that the paintings are the work of respected elders or shamans. The oldest cave painting ever found was 64,000 years old. They were used from around 16,000 BC to 9,000 BC." This was important to get up to art/writing as it is today.

    Hieroglyphics

    "Egyptian hieroglyphs were the formal writing system used in Ancient Egypt, used for writing the Egyptian language. Hieroglyphs combined logographic, syllabic and alphabetic elements, with a total of some 1,000 distinct characters. Cursive hieroglyphs were used for religious literature on papyrus and wood." They were used from 3100 BC to 400. This is important to be able to get up to writing today.

    "A material prepared in ancient Egypt from the pithy stem of a water plant used to write on from 3,000 BC to 1100 AD." This is important because it gives us an early version of paper that we have today.

    "Messengers were considered lesser diplomats, usually in service of a king or lord. If the news delivered wasn't good enough for the receiver the messenger could be blamed and imprisoned or killed. Messengers delivered news and messages across the land." This is important because still today people have private messengers which is basically the mail man.

    "Similar to a phenakistoscope it spins around and you have to look through the slots to actually be able to see the pictures “animated/moving”." This is important because it evolved into animating.

    A device shaped like a box with a phonograph that you look into to see a video and it had rubber tubes to put in your ears to listen. This leads up to videos and movies with sound.

    The vitascope is actually an evolution of the kinetoscope which had more frames per second and better looks. This is important because it lead to watching movies in theaters

    Another app for social media used for chatting and posting things you might find interesting or want people to know on something called your story.

    A top platform for creators to make short 15 second to 3 minute videos and something for people to watch for entertainment.

    The Xbox Series S/X and the PS5 was released. Lots of people play on these making money, having fun, talking to friends, watching videos, and doing research.
