A king was born!
On November 2, 2002 a young king was born, by the name of Isaac Robert Fowlkes. The people that were there to see this special moment was first my lovely mother, grandmother and other grandmother. The men that were there was of course my dad and grandfather. -
Isaac's first time playing basketball
My dad used to open these gyms for guys that went to our church, it would be open every Sunday and my dad would take me cause for as young as I was, I definitely wasn't able to stay home by myself. The love for basketball started there for me and I've played ever since. -
Football or basketball??
During this time in my life, I can say I loved two sports football and basketball. I was real good at both, I played both for quite a while and I really enjoyed playing both, cause both sports were in different seasons so to stay in shape I would play both one in the fall and one in the summer. But I don't know what told me to, but I told myself that I would really like to just focus on basketball. -
My sister was born
In 2009 my sister was born, this was a big change for me because I was so used to being a only child for 7 years and when my sister came it all changed for everyone in a good way tho. -
When basketball became my love
during this time this was the year I could say I loved basketball. Every game I felt like I was the best player on the court. But I also had to show that I was the best on the court. -
My first AAU season
AAU stands for amateur athletic union, basically was called travel basketball, this is where I say I made a bit of a name about myself. People all around saw me as a 3 point shooter, people would say that I was one of the best shooters for my age. My AAU team name was Legit basketball. -
first middle school
The first day of middle school, was very interesting, probably because I was the new kid going into a new school it was very weird for me. -
major event
In 2016, a major event that happened in the world was when El Chapo was recaptured January 8, when he escaped from a max security prison. -
All star game
Also in 2016, I was invited to the middle school classic all star game, where all the best middle school players in Fort Wayne come and play a 5v5 games. I was very honored to be apart of the best middle schoolers in Fort Wayne. -
when things got tough
In 2017, was rough year for me. 2017 was definitely not my year, I didn't really try in 2017 I guess I didn't care enough to do anything even basketball. -
bounce back year
In 2018, this year was a bounce back year from 2017. I really tried my best in everything I did, from school to helping parents around the house etc. -
Wayne generals varsity basketball
My junior year, at Wayne high school, if I succeed on the goals I have for myself, I'll be on the varsity team for Wayne. I've been waiting two years to get a chance to play varsity at Wayne high school.
