    Bronze Age Cilization

    People started setting in villages in Crete. To find different resources that the island could not give to them they started to trade all along the middle east by sailing in the boats they constructed.

    Minoan Cilization

    A new era called Protopalatial began and that was when Minoan Civilization became more powerful, big cities emerged, complex palaces were constructed and art in pottery and stone began.

    Minoan Civilization

    A natural disaster (earthquake, tsunami or a volcano eruption) occurred so everything in Minoan civilization was destructed and when that happened it declined and fall.

    Mycenean Civilization

    The Trojan war occurred when Paris kidnaped Hellene, the wife of Sparta’s King. This war lasted 10 years until Greeks recovered Hellene, and won the war.

    Foundation of Rome

    Romulus and Remus found Rome in the place in which they were suckled by the she-wolf when they were kids. Romulus became the first king of Rome after killing his brother Remus.

    Roman Republic

    After Tarquin’s reign, Rome became a republic this meant that the families of upper classes ruled Rome (patricians) and they were part of the senate and chose 2 consuls for one year in which they controlled Rome. The lower classes were part of an assembly and were called plebeians .This class was part of the army and was the one who paid taxes.

    When Greeks defeated Persians, they became more powerful in their economics, politics and social states. They invented democratic so men that had more than 18 could vote or join the Assembly and some of the leaders were chosen randomly.

    Octavian Augustus was the first emperor of Rome and his reign brought peace and prosperity to Rome. This imperator achieved many of his goals like embellishing Rome, Bringing peace at the border ( the army had to be well organized) and making public works like making roads( to connect the cities that were conquered), aqueducts ( used to store water) and buildings

    Dictatorship of Julius Caesar

    Julius Caesar became the dictator of Rome until year 44 B.C.E when he was assassinated by a complot of people who disagree with his government and hated him (including his adoptive child Brutus).

    The Calima culture developed in Valle del Cauca, Cali and they realized different works with clay to make sculptures of their culture and religion an example of it is their poporo and also pottery.
