Eli whitney and the Cotton Gin
Eli whitney is the person who inveted a machine for cleaning cotton. With just one machine one worker could clean up to 50 pounds of cotton. A Cotton Gin would clean cotton way faster then by hand. The Cotton Gin created new demand because people had cotton and they had to wash the cotton by hand,but then the Cotton Gin came and it was a lot faster then doing it by hand. -
Louisiana Purchase
The louisiana purchase was approved 15 million dollers.Most people didnt know about it till later in the year. It brought alot of people together when more people knew about it. -
