Cause: The cause of the battle was for the French army and the other invaders to gain power of England. Effect: The battle left many people kiiled and and countries defenceless.

    The First Crusade
    Cause: The First Crusade was an event when the Muslims attempted to invade Jerusalem for the second time to gain power and land. Effect: Muslim soldiers made life very hard for the Christians and trying to get to Jerusalem was very dangerous for a Christian. Christians did not like this at all as it made them very angry about this issue.

    Cause: the cause of the Mongols attempting to invade japan was for the Mongols to act against Japan because they gave land to Korea. Effect: The war lead to many deaths since the Mongols had developed new technologies involving gunpowder, such as explosive bombs.

    Effect: The Samurai defeated the Mongols again after destroying many fleets of the 900 ships used by the Mongols.

    Cause: The battle of Bannockburn was an attempt from the english to reduce Scotland to a vassal kingdom and gain land for England. Effect: The Scottish lead by Robert the Bruce defeated the English army under Under King Edward II. The battle many soldiers killed.

Cause: The cause of the flagellants was because they thought that if they punished themselves then god wouldnt punish them with the plague. Effect: The flagellants would walk the streets whipping themselves as punishment and for forgiveness from god.

Effect: The Ottoman Empire grew obsorbing other states of Turkey becoming stronger and more powerful as an empire. as result of them taking over other states, left the people out of the empire whos killed or in slavery.

    Leonardo Da Vinci paints Mona Lisa
    Mona Lisa was a painting by Leonardo Da Vinci. The oainting was started in 1503 and was completed 14 years later in 1517. Cause: the cause of Da Vinci to paint the Mona Lisa and to spend 14 years of his life whilst doing so, was to celebrate the second child of Lisa del Giocondo. Effect: The Mona Lisa only became famous and recognised after Leonardo Da Vinci died. The Mona Lisa was then in 1797 it was hung in The Louvre and has remained there ever since.

    The battle of Nagachino was a battle between Eastern Japan and the capital. Cause: For the late general Takeda Shingen wanted power and to make a name for himself. Effect: The battle left many samuri warriors killed and left Japan devostated.

    Oda Nobunaga was a major Daimyo in Shogunate Japan. He was a minister of the right which was the third highest imperial position in court and the first person to rule an entire country. Cause: The cause of Oda Nobunaga's death was assasination only at the age of 47. Effect: The effect that Oda Nobunaga's death was leaving the country of Japan in distribute and without a proper leader of the nation.
  • The Great Plague of London

    The great plague of London was the last major part and deaths caused by the Black Death. Cause: The cause of the great plague of London was the spread of the Bubonic Plague (Black Death). Effect: The great Plague of London killed many brittish people although lead to the end of the Bubonic Plague.
  • The Meji Restoration

    The Meji Restoration was an event where the Shoguns lost their power and the emperor became the leader again. Cause: The US and UK forced Japan to sign treaties and forced them to restore the imperial rule because they thought that this would minimize the amount of wars in Japan. Effect: The Meji restoration left Emperor Meji in control of Japan making Japan a dictatorship but less violent without the Shoguns leading with their armies.

    Loot and Land
    Loot and Land was an event for the Vikings where they invaided Britain. Cause: The cause of 'loot and land' to raid Britain's Holy Places was to gain power and to gain land so the Vikings could grow as a group and claim treasures from the monks they slaughtered to start a leadership and to make them intimidating to other groups. Effect: This event left Britain and its monks devastated and poor, leaving them without power, valuables and land which was divided amongst the invading Vikings.
