Welcome to High School
Walking into the doors of Harrison HIgh School, Hariison New York, was a life changing event. I knew from that moment on I would do something great. -
Made the Hockey Team!
On this date my high school career took a turn for the better. I became a member of my highschools ice hockey team. That year was not only the first year they let girls play on the team but also the first year the team made it to the nationals. -
& we take home to win!
Remaining 13 - 8 It was a season filled with ups and downs but we made it to the competition and we won. the final score was 12-6. Being on the team made my high school experience memorable. I built a family and a bond with my teammates. Although i was the only girl on the team they accepted me and my skills. I felt very close with my team and it was devostating when my family informed me that we would be moving and id have to quit the team. -
Mr. Pearl
When I transfered from harriosn high school to white plains high school i was nervous. I moved in the middle to end part of my junior year. I met Mr. Pearl in Feb, of 2012. He was my earth science teacher and I wouldnt have been able to pass without him. He encouraged me and pushed my abilities. I entered his room with a grade of 53, I graduated his class with an 85 with only 4.5 months to turn it around. He believed in me and made it possible for me to pass the regents. -
Ms. Zacker
My senior year has been one to remember. It has been filled with ups and downs. I met an extrodanary teacher that has impacted me. I take her suggestions and critisim with an open mind because i know she is giving the advice from her own experience. I am so greatful i got to spend an entire year with Ms. Zacker, she deffinetly deserved "Rookie of the Year" I am sad to say goodbye, but i know that when this door closes another will open. -
Senior Project
A requirement to graduate from Etowah High School is to complete a senior project. The project varies depending on the student. I love that each studnets project differs because it shows individuality throughout all of us. I choose to do my project on the career of Architecture. I had a breif understanding of the career and now after completing the project i feel much more informed and knowledgeable on the topic/subject. -
Graduation
To those of you who received honors, awards and distinctions, I say well done. And to the C students, I say you too may one day be president of the United States.
