Freshman-Senior Year

  • Freshman Year

    Freshman Year
I was finally done with middle school and I was excited about having more freedom. I tried hard on all my work and got fairly good grades. I also met a few of my really good friends that I also have now. I also recieved my driving permit and began to learn how to drive a car.

    Freshman-Senior Year

  • Sophmore Year

    Sophmore Year
I was happy that I wasn't a freshman anymore and felt much older. I turned 16 right at the beginning of school. I planned on doing better in school than my freshman year but my grades were about the same. Towards the end of my softmore year I received my drivers license. This was a very big accomplishment for me and I was very excited. I was able to drive my friends places after school.
  • Junior Year

    Junior Year
I was very excited about junior year as it would be the year I could drive my car to school every day. This was awesome as I no longer had to ride the bus. I Did not do very well in my classes as two of my classes, Math and Chemistry, were very difficult for me. I did make more new friends and had a lot of fun outside of school. This year I also went to a lot of concerts which was a lot of fun.
  • Senior Year

    Senior Year
Finally my last year of high school. This made me really happy, i was ready to be finished with highschool. At the very beginning of the year I had to start a year long project. Luckily I came up with a great idea for my project and was able to keep up with it throughout the whole year. I also received very good grades for it. I made some new friends during this year and had a lot of fun with them. I had really awesome teachers this year as well, they all were very helpful.
  • Where I'm From Letter

    Dear Future Self,
Hi so glad that you are finally at the end of senior year. It was probably a difficult path. Hopefully you did well and made A’s and B’s. I hope that you changed your ways about paying attention and finishing homework on time.
  • Where I'm From Letter Part 2

I would like to stop procrastinating on work. I usually always wait until the last minute, sometimes right before the class. I’m tired of over stressing to get assignments done that wouldn’t even take me long to do at home. I want to stop taking tests without studying. I would also like to stop not asking questions when I don’t understand something.
  • Where I'm From Part 3

I want to start asking questions and staying after school more often if I don’t understand the material. I want to start doing all my homework at home, consistently. I have had a problem in the past of not doing my homework. I want to start studying more, even if I don’t need too. I want to start making better grades and accomplish more than I have in the past years.
  • Where I'm From Letter Part 4

I would like to continue coming to school on time like I have in the past. I have a good attendance record that I would like to keep up with. I want to continue staying after for help as I did last year. I want to continue staying out of trouble. I also want to continue going to bed at a decent time at night.
  • Where I'm From Letter Part 5

I want to do very well in school, and if I do what I said previously I should. I want to get accepted into college and hopefully do well there. I think I am smart enough to do well; I just have to try and not slack off like I have in the past. Overall I hope to do everything I said in this letter.
    Sincerely, Jordan Ray
  • Where I'm Going Poem

I'm not going far from home
I will be working, earning money, saving up
Preparing myself for the future ahead
Where I go in the future, I do not know
Maybe remain in this state or leave it
    Attend college is my plan
Studying mechanical engineering is my desire
I wish to move out of state after graduating college
I do not want to stay in Georgia any longer
    This is where I'm going
