    Starting High School
In August, 2010 I started my freshman year of high school at Carlton J. Kell High School in Cobb County. It was an interesting experience because, as a high schooler, I was given a lot more freedom. I was able to walk around the school in the morning, wear most things I wanted, and go outside at lunch.

  • Homecoming!

Homecoming was my favorite part of freshman year. My friend, Cassidy, and I picked out our dresses and went together. After going to the game that Friday, we spent the majority of Saturday getting ready together. The morning after homecoming, I was awoken by my grandmother telling me she was on her way to pick me up because my aunt was in labor with my first (and only) cousin.
  • North Paulding

Over spring break of 2011, I moved from Cobb county to Paulding. My class schedule changed and I had block classes but I didn't mind because I had Marketing for over 3 hours and I got to read Romeo and Juliet again in my lit class.

    Summer of 2011
My summer of 2011 was very busy, but in the best of ways. It was the first summer that I didn't go see my grandmother in Louisiana. Instead, I spent my days at the pool and my evenings at church. I also volunteered at Renovation Revelation and VBS (Vacation Bible School).

On October 24, 2011 I started dating Will Laughner. He was a senior when I was a freshman and he was in the army when we started dating my sophomore year. Our relationship didn't last very long but he taught me a lot about trust and he brought one of my closest friends (Lexi Brady) into my life. Will is 6'7" and I was only 5'3" at the time so our friends would often joke about our height difference.
  • Zach

During my sophomore year, I was friends with an autistic boy named Zach. He went to a completely different school than I did that was located in Atlanta. In January of 2012, his father asked me if he could have Zach ask me to his homecoming so that he could practice asking girl's out. Of course I said yes but I didn't realize that I was going to be sent on a shopping trip for a dress, recieve flowers and a corsage, and that I'd get to ride in a limo.

    SWEET 16
On February 6, 2012, I turned 16 years old. That Friday evening, I invited friends over to celebrate by having a Disney movie marathon. We began with Peter Pan because it is my favorite of the Disney movies, but soon realized we were all too talkative to calm down for a movie. I brought out speakers and wee took turns picking songs to dance and sing along with.
  • Provost

In December of 2012, I decided to finish that semester at North Paulding then finish my junior and senior years online as a student of Provost Academy.

On April 27, 2013 I went to my junior prom at the Georgia Tech Convention center. I went in a limo with a group of friends and we took pictures in downtown Dallas, Ga during the Dallas Car Show.

    Does it Sparkle?
In June of 2013, my very best friend participated in the Georgia (state level) of the Junior Miss America pagent. We were already running a "do it all" company called Go To Girls Rescue and everything was incredibly hectic. However, we took 3 days off so she could do the pageant and I was her support and hair/makeup artist.
  • So That School Thing....

On September 27, 2013 I started school at Etowah High School. It was homecoming and all of the other seniors wore togas to school. I was the new girl for the 21st time and that night, when i got home, I made new accounts for all of the social media sites under the name of 4evernewgirl.
  • PINK Friends

After being at Etowah for about 2 and a half weeks, a teacher walked me into the senior lounge at lunch and told me to make friends. That's when I became friends with Josh Chupp and he pulled me into his group of friends. On Friday October 25, 2013 I went to the Etowah vs. Woodstock football game with him and his group of friends. It was amazing because I hadn't gone out with friends since prom 6 months earlier and I felt accepted. The game was a pink out to support awareness of breast cancer.

    Murder in the Magnolias
At the very end of October, I was talked into auditioning for the school play. Now, I have no idea what posessed me to do it, but I wouldn't change it for anything. I was terrified, but somehow I managed to get a part and not only did I have the best month (or so) ever, but I met my wonderful boyfriend and I found a place where I could be accepted as the crazy/weird person I am. Thursday, December 5 was opening night and we had shows Friday and Saturday as well.

    Check Yes or No
On February 4, 2014 Morgan asked me to prom. When I arrived at school, Zached walked up with a note and asked me to read it because he was trying to ask a girl to prom. It was beautiful and full of adoration. When I finished reading, I told him as much and he told me to unfold the bottom of the page. It read "Turn Around." When I turned, Morgan was standing with flowers and a huge poster that said "Will You Go to Prom With Me? Check Yes or No."
  • I'm Legal!

On February 6, 2014 I turned 18 years old. Sadly, I spent the day sick in bed while most of my friends left for ThesCon. However, exactly 1 month later, I was able to get my driver's license.

On April 12, 2014 I went to my senior prom with Morgan Parker. I spent the day getting ready and being silly with Jessica then Morgan and his mother came to take pictures. After pictures, Morgan and I went to Shogun for dinner before heading over to Marietta for the actual dance. It is most definitely one of my favorite memories.
