Development
This is my development, I have been developing mentally and physically ever since I was born and I probably will be constantly developing until the end of my life -
First words
Saying your first words is important for everyone. It show how you will develop in the future and how you will learn. This milestone showed I was able to understand people and learn a new language. This decided how I'm going to speak, what I'm going to sound like etc. -
first soccer game
First soccer game changed me physically and emotionally. It has helped me with making friends and also with taking care of my body. I realized that I like to be active and I liked to work with a team, helping me to grow. -
Modeling
As a child my mom signed me up with a modeling agency (I was a very cute child). Being a model and going to pageants helped me to understand who I am, what I liked, what I didn't like. It even helped me to understand other people as well, what they want, what they like etc. -
Graduated Middle School
This is a very big milestone in my life becauase it helped me socially, emotionally and intellectually. In grade 6 I discovered I had many learning disabilities so it was very hard to do the simpliest tasks and tests. I'm in french immersion as well and many people were surprised that I was actually able to speak and write in two languages and achieve high marks. Graduating middle school helped me to believe in myself and helped me to understand my learning disabillities. -
Deciding on High schools
It was hard for me to pick high schools, I had the option of going to southwood or GCI. Thankfully I chose GCI. This milestone basically set up my whole life. If I didn't choose to go to GCI I wouldn't be who I am today, I wouldn't have the friends I have now or the same education. This milestone helped me emotionally and socially, I don't know if I would have friends now, if I would've found my voice like I have here. -
First concert
My first concert was Lady Gaga with my brother and one of his friends. Here I got to see all the technology that was used and what was created to entertain people for only a short amount of time. I loved this concert and would love to go to another one -
Kenya
The summer of grade 10 I went on a mission trip to Kenya to help build a school in a community. This was probably the biggest milestone in my life. It changed me on every level, I began to understand not only myself but the people around me aswell. It's helped me to figure out who I am and what I want to do. -
Brother steping out of the closet!
When my brother was in grade 11 he came out of the closet, it wasn't shocking, I already knew but it was a big milestone in my life. It changed me socially and emotionally with my friends and family. I am very accepting of other people, you are who you are and I think that this event has helped me a lot in realizing that. I love my brother and I'm very proud of him. He's helped me to find my voice and become a more outgoing person! -
Driving
Driving is a blessing! Driving was a huge milestone for me and for every other teenager. Being able to drive brings responsability and freedom. Learning to drive has helped me to become a responsible adult.
