    Birth
I was born in St. Marys Hospital in Kitchener. On this day I was born into a family consisting of a loving mother, father and sister. My parents were told that I was one of the easiest babies to deliver because I arrived on the exact date that was predicted, there were no problems and no pills were absolutely needed. I also behaved really well in the nurses care apparently. -Physical Development

  • First Birthday

    First Birthday
My mom threw a Minnie Mouse themed birthday for me in our backyard where most of my aunts, uncles and cousins came. This is a big event because it started the tradition of themed birthdays that my mom threw for me and my sister. Every year until we were 10 we got a big themed birthday which was amazing because it showed how much effort it took for my mother to make our childhood rememberable. -Physical Development
  • First Day of School

    First Day of School
I was always really excited for my first day of school at John Darling Public School. Once I got to school I was horrified of everyone around me because I was incredibly shy. The teacher, Mrs. Leanheart did her best to make every student feel comfortable in her class. She's the reason I eventually started to interact with people and was able to make some friends. -Cognitive Development
  • Meeting my Bestfriend

    Meeting my Bestfriend
My bestfriend's name is Josh Spurling, we met in senior kindergarden and have been inseperable ever since. He gets me through all the rough times in my life and I help him with his problems as well. We live across the street from eachother too so we hangout all the time and our families are friends as well. I know we'll be friends for a long time because we never fight and love being around eachother. - Social Development
  • Trip to Disney World

    Trip to Disney World
This was a great milestone in my life because it was the first trip I had ever taken with my family out of Canada. I was four years old and my parents decided to take me and my sister to the most magical place on earth. I was able to meet a lot the disney characters that I grew up watching like Goofy, Mickey, Lilo and Stitch, Aladdin, etc. This is an important moment because it was a great bonding experience with my family when I was younger. - Emotional Development
  • My Puppy

    My Puppy
After years of begging for a dog my mother finally gave in and bought me and my sister a dog from the humane society. When the humane society found her she was on the side of the road with a couple scars and wounds. When we brought her home she didn't like any males that came to the house especially if they were wearing hats. Besides that she was the perfect puppy, She didn't chew anything and she learned tricks right away. -Social Development
  • Hockey MVP

    Hockey MVP
I was awarded MVP for my hockey team during a tournament in Hamilton. This is where I was able to score 5 goals and get 3 assists in 3 games. Throughout the whole hockey season I had a total of 14 goals and 23 assists. My team came in second place in the season that year and it was a great accomplishment for me. -Emotional Development
  • First Day of Highschool

    First Day of Highschool
Up until my first day of highschool I didn't have a lot of friends because of my shyness but for some reason when I got to highschool a lot of my shyness had disappeared. I became friends with a lot of the people from Queensmount and was really comfortable around them right away. Thats still a mystery to me why I was able to make friends with them so easily but I was always really shy around people at Westheights. -Physical Development
  • Parents Divorce

    Parents Divorce
This was a tough time for me because I just started highschool and was in the "Who Am I?" stage like where I didn't know what kind of person I was and what kind of people I should be hanging around with. When my parents split up I went through a rebellious stage where I didn't care about school or authority and hungout with a crowd that wasn't a very good influence on me. I eventually grew out of the rebellious stage and was able to respect the people around me again. -Emotional Development
  • First Job

    First Job
My first job was at the Esso Station/Tim Hortons on the corner of Victoria and Erb street. I was able to get this job because my aunt was the manager there and she had been looking for more people to work on the Tim Hortons side. I really enjoyed this job because I was able to form really strong friendships with my co-workers. To this day we are all still really close friends even though none of us work at the establishment any more. -Social Development
  • Field Hockey - Most Valuable Defense

Field Hockey - Most Valuable Defense
In field hockey I play the Sweep position which is positioned behind the defence as the last resort before the goalie. the season of 2013 was the first year I was positioned as Sweep. I was started every game and stayed on the field for the whole game and didn't complain about exhaustion and played to my greatest potential every game. At the Athletic Banquet the coaches had awarded me the MVP Defense Plaque because I was considered to be a strong attribute to the team. -Emotional Development
