Henry VI was born at Windsor Castle, United Kingdom. His father was Henry V, that´s why he inherited the throne.

He succeeded to the English throne at the age of nine months upon his father's death.
Two months later, he became King of France on the death of his grandfather, Charles VI. -
His reign last 39 years, 1 month and 18 days. He was the first king who never fought in a battle. As a result, he lost his dad´s (Henry V) french conquests, except the port of calais. In 1454, when henry became ill, Richard, Duke of York was made King of England. This led to the War of the Roses, where Richard was killed. His son, Edward IV removed Henry VI from the throne. In 1470, Henry VI returned to the English Throne.
