    Johns Hopkins was a very rich man and towards the end of his life, he left millions of dollars to help create Johns Hopkins Univeristy and Johns Hopkins Hospital. He wanted to help the segregation between the colored people because some of them weren't allowed to receive medical help.

She was admitted to the Crownsville State hospital sometime before, the hospital was previously known as the Hospital for the Negro Insane.     John Moore's doctor, David Golde, has been harvesting John's cells to make the Mo cell line, without John aware that this was happening. The cells were approximately worth $3 billion. Moore sued Golde and UCLA in 1984. Nearly 7 years after the Supreme Court of California ruled against him and his cells were not deemed his, but now Golde's. (Chapter 25)
