Healthy Living Over Time - Dartanian Babcock

  • Period: to

    My Twenties

Health in your twenties is important for health later in life. I'll make sure to exercise and eat plenty of vegetables, fruits, and other parts of a balanced diet.
I will not smoke or drink or use any addictive products, and I will follow all laws regarding traffic safety
In addition, I will be sure to protect myself from UV radiation and keep myself in good health by being clean and visiting the doctor for routine checkups every few years, as well as keeping myself in good mental health.
  • Period: to

    My Thirties

In my thirties, I'll be especially careful to keep a balance in my life between the stresses of work and a family by staying healthy.
I will exercise every day and continue to eat the healthy diet I have been eating, though perhaps with a little less fat.
I will also be especially careful to get enough sleep, especially among all the stresses of my life.
I will continue to avoid drugs and other dangerous things.
I will also take good care of my back, and continue with routine healthcare checks.
  • Period: to

    My Forties

As I reach middle age, I will continue with my previous healthy practices and behaviors.
I will be especially careful about not overworking or overstressing myself as my body ages.
I will prevent osteoporosis and diabetes by keeping my BMI healthy and eating a balanced diet while still exercising to keep myself strong. I will also be careful to address any health concerns that I have with my doctor.
I will be especially cautious to avoid potential risk factors for cancer and other diseases.
  • Period: to

    My Fifties

As I reach my fifties, I will inevitably be weaker. This is why it will be especially important to keep up a healthy diet, with less salt and fats than before. I will also continue my exercise to keep my body fat low.
I will also work on keeping my mental health up with brain challenges.
I will take special care to avoid stress at this age as it is a risk factor for heart attack, stroke, and faster aging.
I will keep an eye out for medical concerns and get regular doctor visits more often.
  • Period: to

    My Sixties

Having made healthy choices my whole life, my sixties should be good.
As I really start to get old, I will keep an especially watchful eye for warning signs of heart attack and stroke, and talk to my doctor if I have any concerns.
I will continue getting exercise, even if I can't exercise as hard as I used to. This, along with the healthy diet I have had all my life, will help me to be in the best condition possible.
I will also pay special attention to my mental health as my brain weakens.
