  • Evaluating Decisions

"After a decision has been made and implemented it is important to assess both the outcome of the decision and the process by which the decision was reached" (P.10)
After making the decision it's important that you think that what you had decided to do benefited you and had a good outcome. It's also important to evaluate the way you made your decision so that you could possibly improve the way you did things or learn from your mistakes.
  • Evaluating Outcomes

"The object of evaluating outcomes is for the decision maker to develop insight into the decision" (P.10).
When you evaluate your decision it will give you insight on how it may turn out. When evaluating a decision make sure good thought is going into it and you are sure of your idea.
  • Help with making Decisions

"If the decision was made by a group, having a conversation with all participants is often worthwhile" (P.11).
In some cases it could be important to hear what your peers have to say and how they think it would impact you and how the outcome will turn out. Your peers could easily influence your decisions, but sometimes it's good to hear what your peers think.
  • Personal Connection

During gymnastics season I was getting really sick. I rarely ever get sick, I was dragging at practice, not eating a lot, couldn't breathe, was coughing a lot, etc. We had a competition coming up and that was the only reason I was going to practice. When competition day came I really wasn't feeling well at all. I was afraid that if I tried to compete I would of got hurt because I was sick and weak. I collaborated with my friends and the coaches and they thought it was best if I sit this one out.
