Government

  • A Good Life

I was born into a political family where my father, the president, was serving his lifetime term. The government my father was president of as a democracy and the people had voted him in, however he was not a part of any of the political parties in our nation but the people loved him and that is why they voted for him. I was an only child and and my mother left my father when I was young as it was just me and my father living in a very large house.

    How My Government Formed

  • It was a normal day

One day just like any other I was sitting in the kitchen of my very large presidential home when I heard a strange noise come from my fathers office. I opened the door to see what had made that noise to discover my father dead on the floor standing over him was his vice president, Daniel McKee, with a gun in his hand. I screamed and McKee turned his gun at me and fired. the bullet met its mark and I felt it pass through my shoulder. I new I had to get out of there so I ran as fast as I could.
  • Alone on the streets

After I ran out of the house I had no idea where to go so I just kept running. After about half an hour I became very light headed and collapsed. When I woke up I was in what looked like a house. I sat up and an elderly man told me to lie back down. He then explained that he was a doctor and he took me in and patched me up and also he recognized me as the son of the president. I told him what had happened and he told me he would help me and that I could now live with him and his family.
  • Making a new life

Years had now past and Daniel McKee had become a tyrant to the people, he was cruel and unjust, but there was nothing I could do, so I thought. I had debated in my mind whether or not to fight against McKee but I was only 16 at this time. Then one day my adopted father came home from his work at the hospital bruised and bloody. He then told me how he and some friends were talking about how much better life was when my father was in charge and not McKee and how the police heard them and beat them
  • Starting to fight back

After I had heard the story of how my adopted father was beaten for talking against McKee I knew I had to act as I started a rebellion. My father was not the only one who thought my father was a better president than McKee and in secret more people began to rally behind me, the son of the former president. Soon Almost a third of the population had sided with me and then is was time to act. I had a plan to take me and my best 10 men on a secret mission to destroy McKee's largest military base.
  • The final battle

After months of fighting we had pushed McKee back to the capital. I had a plan for and all out assault on the presidential home with a twist, while my troops attacked the house head on I would sneak into the house using secret passages I had learned when I lived there. I made it inside and found McKee in my fathers old office. Before he knew I was there I shot him in the shoulder, the same place he had shot me many years ago. I then debated whether or not to kill him. Then I remembered my father
  • From the ashes of tyranny

After I had captured McKee his men stood down and my troops celebrated. I put McKee and all the other corrupt politicians that supported him in prison. At that point we had no government. I people then banded together and begged me to become the new president. I declined in favor of forming a new government, a constitutional monarchy. I no longer wanted my nation to be a democracy in fear that the jealous political parties would form again and something bad would happen like what had happened.
  • A New government

Months have pasted since I came to power. As the king acting with in the constitution things have never been better. The people all love me and foreign affairs are at their peak. I'm looking ahead to a bright future of peace and prosperity.
