Soldiers of India which were called Sepoys were given cartidge of beef and pork fat. Because it was something that neither Muslims and Hindus eat they rejected to use it and were sent to prison because they saw that act as a rebellion. -

Amritsar Massacre
Muslims and Hindu got together to pray but forgot or didnt know that the Rowlatt Act didnt allow public meetings. The Colonel allowed the soilders to shoot and they killed about 400 people and hurt about 1,200 people. There was also children at the event of the massacre. -

Indians led by ghandi were not in agreement with the salt law which only led them buy salt from the british which was really high taxed so they marched to the seacost and made their own salt and when trying to go to shut down the British Salt they were not succesful and got violently stopped -

All the peacefull protest of Gandhi started to pay off as the british government gave the indiands local-self-government though there was still a long way to go -

Gandhi used fasting as a way of proteting but in his 2 year imprisonment pictures of him were sent to the press and people gave him sympathy -
India and Pakistan
Muslims proposed the partition of india into two seperate states were India would be mostly hindu while Pakistan would be mostly Muslims they finally passed the law. -
Independence of India
It was the partition of the British India Empire, It led to the creation and union of India. The british parliament passed. -
Ghandi Death
He was killed by Godse who was a part of a group that opposed ghandis teachings, he used a beretta and then tried to suicide but was arrested before suicide.
