    My parents influent me a lot. They teach me some good characteristics like brave, persist in something that I interested, don not be afraid of problems. They lead me to a right way, sometimes I did something wrong, they will remind me to fix it. They not only give me life but also teach me how to be a good person.

    My teachers influent me because they not only teach me knowledge but also teach me life experience. Although sometimes they are strict, they help me to focus on my studying. They like our parents, they contribute their best years to teach us. Thanks！

    I spent my 12th birthday in a big restaurant with my friends. At that year, we graduated from elementary school, so it was my last birthday before I went to middle school. My friends gave me many exquisite presents and we had a lot of fun. At that day, I also got the first place of a swimming competition which was making me happy.

    This picture is my elementary school. Jingxiu elementary school. The life in the elementary school was easy and happy but when I updated to the middle school. I got more homework and pressure. I needed to consider my future. I needed to worry my mark. I needed to go to the extra studying clubs. I had less time to hang out with my friends because I needed to put time into studying.

    After I graduated from elementary school, I became to maturity and I knew that I will go to Canada alone next year so I needed to learn how to take care of myself. It was really important for my Canada's life.

    It is very important to learn live without my parents. Everything will be different after you leave them. You have to everything by yourself, parents won't help you because they can not help, they can only encourage you. You need to make every important decisions by yourself.

    Living without my parents is a big transition because I need to be independent, I need to do housework, I need to learn how to take care of myself. No one will urge to study. Everything I need to do by myself. Sometimes when I meet problems, my parents only can give me some advices but they can not help me immediately. Living without my parents is also a kind of learning. Learning for my future and my life.

    When I heard I will go to Canada, I felt sad because I will leave my best friends. They are really nice, when I felt lonely, they will call me and ask me to hang out with them. Sometimes I felt unhappy because I got a very low mark on a test, they will help me to figure out my mistakes . When I was sick, they will take care of me at the school. I still have the connection to my friends now and there are my friends forever, no matter where I am. I always think about them!

    Moving to Canada is the biggest transition that my family made because it is very important for my future. They want me to stay in Canada, find a stable job and marry a girl. I like Canada but now I can not decide to leave or stay in Canada in the future. But I think the time will prove me which one is better.

    The school timetable is very different between Canada and China because students can choose the courses in here. But in China, teachers choose the courses for students and students do not have right to choose our courses. I prefer to study in here because I can choose some courses that I interested. It benefits to my future.

    In China, every school has the school uniform, students do not allow to wear their own clothes, but in Canada. Almost schools do not have school uniform, students can wear whatever they want.

    Learning a new language is interesting but it is also hard. If I can learn a new language, I can talk my friends in many different ways. I also can different countries people. It is hard because the new language pronunciation will be very different from your first language.

    I used to walk back to home before I came to Canada. After I came to here, I took the bus to go back home. The bus ticket is really expensive in here. It costs 4 dollars. But In China, the bus ticket only costs 25 cents. It is inconvenient if you do not have a car because Markham does not have the subway.

    Language environment changing is a really big change to me. It is the biggest challenge after I came to here because I speak Chinese and never speak English in China. At first, I was afraid of taking to local people. But through a lot of practices, now I have the confidence to talk to them.

    I made a lot of foreign friends in Canada. I practice my English skills when I talk to them. I can learn some local's culture from them. I can also learn their hobbies. They are very kind, sometimes I can not understand what they are saying. They are very patient to explain what they mean. I am very happy that I can make many foreign friends in here.

    There is a small change in my life that I used to swim in the stadium but right now I swim in a community centre. Honestly, the stadium's swimming pool is better than the community centre's swimming pool.

    I was excited when I got the first place at YRAA swimming competition because it was my first time to attend a swimming competition in Canada and I got the first place, how it was exciting!

    I used to live in a condo when I lived in China. But after I moved to here. I discovered in Canada houses are cheaper than Chinese condo. I felt good when I moved from a condo to a house because the house is bigger and more comfortable.

    I learning how to do housework after I came to Canada. I never did housework when I was in China. But in here, I think I need to learn some housework skills because I need to prepare to my future. If I live alone, no one will help me do housework so I have to do by myself.

    [Blair witch] was the first Dracula movie that I watched at the cinema. It was frightened me I have to do say. But it was a good experience to me that I know I can not watch Dracula movies at the cinemas! I won't do again.

    I want to find a part-time job when I am 16 years old. If I can find a job, I can use my own money to do the payments but not my parents' money. I want to be independent, I can not rely on my parents forever, so I need to find a job in the future. The part-time job will give me some experiences that it can help me. I want to be a lifeguard because this part-time job relates my swimming skills.
