    When the Rowlatt Acts are passed by the government, Satyagraha spreads all over India to millions.
  • 1920 Demonstration

    In 1920, a demonstration against the Rowlatt Acts occurs and the British soldiers massacre non-violent Indians in Amristar due to the spread of Satyagraha.
  • Gandhis Message reaches the Population

    Throughout India in 1920, streets were blocked by squatting Indians who refused to rise even when beaten by police and Gandhi was arrested, but the British were forced to release him. Indians also boycotted all British Goods, this resulted in extreme poverty. Gandhi then encouraged the revival of Cottage Industries so that the Indians could be self providing
