At 13 years old Ghandi gets married to 14 year old Kasturbai in an arranged marriage. Ghandi describes it as "As we didn't know much about marriage, for us it meant only wearing new clothes, eating sweets and playing with relatives."

Gandhi was shot while addressing a prayer meeting, by Nathuram Godse who was found to be linked with hindu extremists who believed he was weaking India and where executed. 2 million people walked 5 miles to commerate his death.
