While Russia lost more than 200,000 men.

    Napoleon abdicates, or gives up, his throne. Thus, based on in the Treaty of Fontainebleau, he was banished to Elba. Specifically, he was banished to the Mediterranean island of Elba. However, he was able to escape the prison after a year.
