The French Foreign Legion
The French military presence in Algeria had proven unpopular with some of the people in France. The Foreign Legion was created to combat the threat of dissidents forming political instability and to supply back up to the troops currently posted in Algeria. The men inside the legion were commonly given the worst jobs possible because it was comprised mostly of men born outside of France. These men worked alongside a penal military unit mostly comprising of soldiers with criminal records. -

Today African's carry many legacy's with them from when they were once colonies. Many countries in Africa have very little wealth from when they crippling taxes when they were under rule from the French. A large portion of the citizens in the old colonies still speak french because of the reform schools that Africans were forced into attending. Another big legacy left behind for the Africans is the boarders created by European country that constantly cause trouble. -
More Legacies
Many wealthy nations and organization are paying money to Africans and offering aid because they cant afford to pay for their own needs. Governments are also breaking confrontation between Africans because of the old boarders.
