    This day marks the crowning of King John, after his brother Richard I died. This is siginifcant becasue King John is the king that will be in place when the Magna Carta is written due to his actions against the church.

    This marks when Pope Innocent III placed Interdict on England or a ban from priests adminstrenationg most of the sacraments, and forbids Christian burial. This is significant because it marks the first action where the Pope started to become angry aganist England, and begun to take action.

    Stephen Langton installed as Archbishop

    This marks when King John finally accepted Stephen Langdon as Archbishop of Canterbury. This then was significant because Langon then absolved John of his excommunication from the Catholic Church. Langdon then was more stubborn than King John expected, so that then caused King John to become extremly angry.

    This marks a continuing struggle between the Barons and the Kings, as the Barons took the Tower of London, and greatned their struggle with the king. This is significant because it continued to make King John more angry.

    The barons assembled to negocite with King John, to settle their disagreements. This meeting is significant as it marks an attempt to work together, but it is unsuccessful.

    This is when the Barons made a formal peace with King John. This is significant as it marks a point when they were able to get along for a period of time.

    This is significant because the this is when the Pope said that he did not approve of the document and wanted revisions to be made to it. Revisions then were made to it, and then eventually, he did approve after multiple revisions.
