Five Things

  • Passion for Music

I can't describe my love for music. I have been singing since I was 2 years old. Something about music clicks, when ever I hear an upbeat song I just want to dance. SLow depressing songs also click, I feel the music like it's speaking to me. My favorite artist growing up was Mariah Carey. I would sing dance and sometimes even go out of my way to memorize a song. I thank God every day for the ability to sing well and I hope that never changes.
  • Ice Skating Inspiration

Ice skating is important to me because it taught me , it is okay to fall down but just get up and keep trying. It has always been one of my favorite things to do with my mom on Saturdays, or when she is off of work. I love the glove that I brought today because the last thing my coach said to me on my last day of class was "here I want you to have my gloves from when I was a kid. I think you will be a great iceskater one day."
  • Birth of the Little Munchkin

I love my little sister, although she can be a brat sometimes. She is important to me because when she came my whole life changed. Everybody paid attention to her, not me. We could not do alot of things that I wanted to do because of her. But even if all those things happened, if she never came I wouldn't have been in the spot I am in now.
  • Volleyball Tradition

Volleyball is one of my passions. I love to play with my friends and family, but I also enjoy playing alone. This is important to me because my mom, my 2 godmothers, and my dad use to play, and I would like to keep the tradition running. My 2 godmothers have won many trophies, awards, and championships with thier teams in the Philipenes. I would like to be the same way one day.
  • Our Awesome New Hobby

Scuba, it helps me in many ways. With my singing, my swimming, my strenghth, and my little fear of heights. I love being in the water, and I love swimming. This is one of the reasons I started learning techniques for my upcoming scuba lessons. I brought a scuba mask not only to represent my love for water but as a representation of my dad. He is my rolemodel, one of my best friends, and an advanced level scuba diver. He is also still working hard to recieve his rescue diver liscence.
