    Mao Zedong Died
    Mao Zedong, first president of People's Republic of China, died on the 9th of September, 1976 in Beijing. He was the founder of PRC, as well as the founder of Communist Party of China. His death was significant at that time.
    Just after the death of Mao Zedong, all members of the "Gang of Four" were arrested by Hua Guofeng administration by armed forces rather than law enforcement.
    The death of Mao Zedong, as well as the capture of the "Gang of Four", decided the Cultural Revolution was over.

    The two powers finally established diplomatic relations after the political unrest in past few decades. This was important to both countries. This also made trading, and businesses easier and safer.

    China's one child policy was established by Chinese leader Deng Xiaoping in 1979 to limit China's population growth. Citizens living in rural areas and minorities are not subject to the policy. The rule has been estimated to have reduced population growth in the country of 1.3 billion by as much as 300 million people over its first twenty years of establishment.
    This policy controls the population in China and affects the Chinese economy to a more positive trend.
