After the end of the French revolution Napoleon takes control in 1799. He was a French statesman and a military leader during the French Revolution. His life span was from August 15, 1769 to May 5, 1821. -

The Congress of Vienna was a meeting of ambassadors of European states chaired by Austrian statesman Klemens von Metternich, and held in Vienna from November 1814 to June 1815. This Congress stopped wars in Europe for 100 years. -
Battle of Waterloo: Napoleon is defeated.
France who is led by Napoleon is defeated by England and Prussia. It was fought in Waterloo which is present day Belgium. This was the final defeat of the French military leader and emperor Napoleon Bonaparte. -
Revolution in Spain
Colonel Rafael del Riego led a large part of the Spain army into mutiny, they demanded that the liberal constitution of 1812 needed to be restored. Kind Ferdinand VII Trienio Liberal agreed, but secretly had France send 100,000 troops to defeat Riego army. -
Italian Revolution of 1820
Began in Sicily and Naples and it was against King Ferdinand I of the two Sicilies. He forced to promise a constitutional monarchy. This inspired Carbonari of the north to revolt. -

The American Civil War was fought in the United States from 1861 to 1865. It was between the confederate states which is the Southeast of America and the Union which is the Northern part of America. During this time the president was Abraham Lincoln.
