Born to Jerry and Sherry Woods in Kansas City, Missouri. -
Got stung by bee; TRUST VS MISTRUST
TRUST- I was playing outside in my backyard and a bee got stuck in my sock and stung my ankle. I remember it hurt so bad and I didn't know what was going to happen, but my mom took me inside and calmed me down and took care of me, reassuring my trust. -
Toilet trained; AUTONOMY VS SHAME AND DOUBT
AUTONOMY- I became potty trained. -
Imagination; INITIATIVE VS GUILT
INITIATIVE- My sister used to have a miniature play kitchen in her room, so she and I would always pretend to be like my mom and we would "wash the dishes" or "make dinner" for everyone. We learned how to be like a mother by using our imagination. -
Picked out own clothes; AUTONOMY VS SHAME AND DOUBT
AUTONOMY- My mom let me pick out my own outfit on the first day of kindergarden. -
Began dancing; COMPETENCE VS INFERIORITY
COMPETENCE- I began dancing at Diane's School of Dance, and have been dancing ever since. -
Moved to China; IDENTITY VS ROLE CONFUSION
ROLE CONFUSION- When I moved to China, I moved away from all of my friends and family that I had been around for my entire life before that. This caused me to become confused on who I was because I started off that year with no friends and a completely clean page. -
First real relationship; INTIMACY VS ISOLATION
INTIMACY- I began my first real realtionship that has lasted over a year. -
Made the Dance Team; IDENTITY VS ROLE CONFUSION
IDENTITY- I made the dance team at Park Hill High School, which made me become even more sure that dancing is what I want to do for the rest of my life. -
Graduation- High School; IDENTITY VS ROLE CONFUSION
IDENTITY- I plan on graduating from PHHS to then go on to attend college, possibly Mizzou. -
Graduation- College; IDENTITY VS ROLE CONFUSION
IDENTITY- I hope to graduate from college and be ready to start my life in a career I take interest in. -
Hope to get Married: INTIMACY VS ISOLATION
INTIMACY- I hope to be married by the time I'm 28 years old. -
Have kids; GENERATIVITY VS STAGNATION
GENERATIVITY- I hope to have at least two kids, one a girl and the other a boy. -
Grandkids; GENERATIVITY VS STAGNATION
GENERATIVITY- I hope to one day have grandchildren to love and spoil. -
Death; INTEGRITY VS DESPAIR
INTEGRITY- I want to be able to look proudly back on my life with very few regrets. I want to live my life doing what I love, and giving all that I can to others.
