This book gives many Revolutionaries ideas on how the government should be run. For example, the SPirt of Laws talk about ending slavery and the speration of power. -
America declares independence
When America declares their independence, they defeat the British and are freed of British rule. This also sparks ideas for the French Revolution as they do the same thing soon after. -

Napoleon overthrows the Directory through a coup d’etat
When Napoleon overthrows the Directory, he establishes a new government which puts him on top. -
Napoleon crowns himself emperor, begins to create a vast European Empire
Now that Napoleon is emperor, he controls all of France and begins his march to defeat other countries. Also when he is crowned as king, he was crowned by the Pope of France so that simbolizes that he was more inportant than the pope. (No one is one his level.) -
Haiti wins freedom from France
The most obvious importance of this Revolution is that Haitian slaves are now free. It also spurs Napoleon to get out of the Americas prompting him to sell the Lousiana territory. -
Padre Hidalgo calls for Mexican Independence
This ws the frist sign of revolution in the Americas and even when Hidalago loses, one of his followers gain freedom for Mexico. It basically inspired people to gain freedom all around the Americas. -
Napoleon is defeated at the Battle of Waterloo
When Napoleon is defeated at Waterloo, it marks the end of Napoleon's rule and therefore France. It also stopped the small series of wars as well.
