When Napoleon overthrows the Directory, he establishes a new government which puts him on top.

Now that Napoleon is emperor, he controls all of France and begins his march to defeat other countries. Also when he is crowned as king, he was crowned by the Pope of France so that simbolizes that he was more inportant than the pope. (No one is one his level.)

The most obvious importance of this Revolution is that Haitian slaves are now free. It also spurs Napoleon to get out of the Americas prompting him to sell the Lousiana territory.

This ws the frist sign of revolution in the Americas and even when Hidalago loses, one of his followers gain freedom for Mexico. It basically inspired people to gain freedom all around the Americas.

When Napoleon is defeated at Waterloo, it marks the end of Napoleon's rule and therefore France. It also stopped the small series of wars as well.
