An Embarrassing Moment
It was a long time ago. I'm happy it only happened in front of family. I was 7 and I loved playing the Gameboy we had. I took it into the bathroom and put it down on the sink while I used the bathroom. When I left, I paid too much attention to my Gameboy. I had forgotten to do my belt again. When I walked out, my pants fell. I was so embarrassed. Thankfully, only my dad and Nino saw. -
Mom's Cancer
When my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer, no one really knew what to do. I tried to show that I was alright, but all the time I was worried about her. It showed in school, I stopped participating as much. But, I got through it and my mom's cancer was in remission sooner than expected. -
Losing Honor Roll
8th grade. I stopped caring about everything, but still managed to things done...or so I thought. Turns out, I kept slacking on my math homework. Between missing assignments in math and my grades dropping a bit in other courses, I lost honor roll. Since then, I've worked on trying to get high honor roll for the rest of my school years -
My Only Regret
I consider this my only regret and my worst mistake. When my grandma was in the hospital for her cancer, my mom and I went to visit her. When the time came, I couldn't bring myself to enter her room. First Varsity Goal
First year of varsity was hard. I was one of the smallest kids. I couldn't score like my brother. During one of our last games, we played Lakeland/Panas. They weren't the best team, so my coach put me out as much as possible. Finally, off of the face off I got a pass. I took the shot, the goalie blocked it. Another shot. I went for the rebound and scored. -
Losing Control
We own property upstate, a few miles away from Cobleskill. We went on a night ride on our quads. We started going down a big hill and my quad stalled. No lights, no engine. I called out to the people in front of me to no avail. I started to panic. I thought I was gonna die. However, I talked myself through it. I slowed it all down, telling myself what to do. My quad started back up and everything was ok. -
Surprise, Surprise
My half brother was about to have another kid. He approached me one day and asked me to be the Godfather. I was extremely surprised that he chose me, even though both Nino and Jesse were probably more suitable. -
My First Crush
My first crush didn't end well. I screwed up in a lot of ways. I was overly clingy, I opened up a bit too much, and I failed to see that she didn't feel the same way about me. However, through this experience, I learned that people see me in their own way, not just how I want them to see me. -
Getting a new PC
I wanted a new gaming pc, but I had no money. Knowing my parents wouldn't help me buy one, I set out to earn enough money for it. Saving money from work wasn't easy. I had to split my earnings between my savings account and my pc fund. Eventually, I saved enough and got my pc. -
My Girlfriend
Between my personality and my personal dislike for myself, I never thought I'd get a girlfriend. My first crush went...south. I was upset for a long time, but then I met Jesse. She was amazing in every way. We got to know each other and I finally got the confidence to ask her out.
