  • My first dog

    My first dog
I know that to many it might seem ridiculous but to me it was a very important event in my life. When we got our first dog I saw it as my dog rather than our dog. I was young and I so I didn't really understand what it meant to care for another living being. However I knew that I wanted to care for it which taught me responsibility at a young age which I personally think was very important.
  • Moving to Arizona

    Moving to Arizona
For me personally, moving to Arizona was one of the biggest decisions my parents made as I was growing up. At the time I was still little and didn't really understand how different my life would be after I moved. A new state filled with not only new people and places but new opportunities and potential as well.
  • Meeting extended family/Mexico trip

    Meeting extended family/Mexico trip
Another trip I will never forget is when I went to Mexico for a month. This trip was very different from all the other trips we had previously taken that only lasted a few days. We went so far deeper into the country that I was given the opportunity to really see and appreciate it for what it was. But the best part was being able to me new family members that I didn't even know existed.
  • Breaking my ankle

    Breaking my ankle
Significant events in your life aren't always positive ones. In the fourth grade I broke my ankle. I was on the monkey bars when an overly excited and impatient fourth grade boy bumped into me forcing all 45 pounds of my little body to come crashing own on my right ankle. I don't remember the pain much if I'm gonna be honest. It's just the burning of my eyes as I cried that really sticks out to me.
  • First day of Traditional High School

First day of Traditional High School
throughout your life you experience a lot of first times but what makes them so significant is the fact that they're firsts. The first day of regular high school was like stepping into a new world. I still knew some people at the high school I was attending but it was almost as though my world had multiplied in size. I could become or do anything I wanted. It was a fresh start.
  • Meeting current boyfriend

    Meeting current boyfriend
You meet hundreds, probably thousands of people throughout your life. However, some people are more important and valuable than others. For me personally, my boyfriend is probably the most significant person I've met. It's almost been two years but I knew almost instantly that I was in love. I can't wait to see what the future has for us.
  • Six Flags Trip

    Six Flags Trip
Last year on our one year anniversary I was able to take a trip with my boyfriend to Six Flags in California. Everything from start to finish was exhilarating. There was never a dull moment as long as I was with him. Whether it was the drive there, the wait in line for the first ride, the walk on the beach r the ride back. It was all part of a trip I will never forget.
  • Birth of nephew

    Birth of nephew
Birth is always something to celebrate and cherish. It always something to be happy about. Being able to see my nephew first the first time made it impossible for me to hold back my tears. However it was seeing him the last time that also caused my to lose all control of the tear glands. My nephew was born on November 8th, 2014 but he unfortunately he left us on that day as well.
  • Receiving driver's permit

    Receiving driver's permit
Getting your driver's license is definitely one of the most exciting events as a teenager. Unfortunately, I'm a step behind and have only received my driver's permit. But to tell you the truth it is still just as exciting. At first I was nervous just like anyone would be but the more I drive the more I fall in love with it.
  • First Job

    First Job
The first big step into adulthood has to be your first job. For me it was a sign of responsibility. It was scary simply because it was something new to me. But as time passed I got the hang of it and realized that working for your own money rather than asking your parents for some is so much more rewarding.
