To My Son. (A poem written to me by my mom)
To my son,Darian james
Whom I love very much
You'll always be my baby boy
And i'll always see you as such This is your life
At least the first few years
The baby, the toddler, the youth
Looking back brings me to tears Because time can tend to fly
This wasy you'll have memories
Of all the days gone by All the poems and the pictures
I wrote and placed just so
I still can't help but wish
I could keep you little and not let go Always rememeber
And never forget
How much Mommy loves you. -

Do Not Stand By My Grave And WeepBy Mary Elizabeth Frye
My grandmother gave this to before she died in the hospice, sadly she had died on my birthday Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sun on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there; I did not die. -
