My Birth and ealry years- Frankfurt Germany
Growing up I always wanted to move into America and get out of germany. As I entered my teenage years I met a girl and we got married. We both were trying to find ways to move to america. So i found a way to get to america. I would be enetering through ellis island. But sadly i will be leaving my wife alone in germany for a couple of months. While i find a house and look for a job. -
Statue of liberty
I am finally in America and it is wonderful. As we walked the streets us Germans were in awe as we saw the Statue of Liberty. The first words that came to my mind was freedom. I was finally out of Germany, and finding my way around america. But I was still scared being alone and not knowing anyone. The americans seemed to be ignoring us as we were carazy people. But america was exactly where i wanted to live the rest of my life. -
Physical Exam
I have been in America 2 days now and I am in this line to get my physical exam. A lot of things are going through my head like what happens if i fail and a disease or something shows up. The examinier said if we fail we are immediatly sent back home. There are 2 guys in front of me and they both just failed. Maybe I will fail too. My time has come and I enter the room.... And i passed now i am able to start my new life in America. -
Getting a shelter
I have been in America for a couple of days now, and i have just been sleeping on the streets. So today I am going out to find a house. I dont have much money so my house wont be that big. Days have gone by and i still havent found a house. But finally i found a small little cottage just right out of the city. 2 beds and 1 bath and its in my price range. I finaaly have a house. -
Finding a job
I am slowly running out of the money I was given from my wife. So I need to find a job. I am hoping to get a job digging for gold. I am going to the mine today to see if I can get a job. I get to the mine and there are a lot of people already there. So I offerered the boss a deal. If he lets me work, I will work longer hours and for less money. He liked the deal so i got the job. I can maybe now get my wife over to America. -
Moving West
I have decided to move west to meet my wife and because i got transfered for my job. West has more gold and they need more workers. So far the west is nice and I am excited to be at a new job that pays much more. My wife is with me and we may be starting a family soon. This new job pays more and allows our family to have room to buy things. America has really changed my life and I love it here.
