Today was a good day, I went to town to get some groceries for my family. i had to walk so far, from our farm into town. But the weather was really nice and so i enjoyed walking. When i got to the market the prices were fair and the merchants were cooperating, The nice weather must be rubbing off. As I was walking down the street, I tripped and almost fell on the man walking infront of me. However the groceries were not so lucky. All the thing I bought fell out of the bag. -
The market
The man I fell on looked up at me, and applogized. I didn't say anything because it wasn't his fault. He must have applogized to be polite. He helped me pick up all the stuff that fell, he told me his name was Calvin Anderson. I told him I was Elizabeth Fileds, after he helped me he offred to buy me a drink, as an applogy for the fallen groceries, I have never been to a bar since my parents dont allow it, I don;t understand this, I am almost 21. And Johnathan always gets to go. -
Harvest Time
It is harvest time, my family and I all have to help with the harvest, so we woke up at dawn, and started a long day of work, At dinner time mother prepared a wonderful meal, and after dinner I helped mother with the dishes. After we started preperation for making jam out of the harvested fruits so we could sell them at ther market. When everything was done it was time to go to bed. So we can start another long day of work tomorrow. -
A visitor
We woke up early today, Beacuse Calvin came to visit I was really surprisied to see him. He gave me money to take care of my family, since we were struggleing with debt, and he gave my little sister a doll. And my little brother a wooden dagger to play wit. The money really helped us save the farm, but I could not say anything becuase I was so surprised to see him, and how did he know where I lived, or that my family was struggleing. I am to stunned to say anything. -
Back to Town
Today was an okay day, in the morning i cleaned all of the clothes, and that took a while since no one helped me, everyone were busy. After that I went to town to get things for the farm. When I got there everything was so expensive, I could not afford it, so I didn't get anything. As I was going home i saw Calvin in the bar so I went in to say hello, and also ask why he gave us money last week? He told me that he just wanted to help -
Hope you feel better
Today was a horrible day, In the morning I helped my mother cook breakfast, and clean up after. Later on that day we were picking fruits from the farm when my sister Stacy told me she was feeling really sick, she looked really pale, and she didn't feel like eating this morning, so I took her to the doctors, and it was so far away and we had to walk so far, when we finally went there the doctor said my sister got the flu, and that she was gonna be okay. After that we had to go home. -
Calvin is leaving
It seems like I see Calvin eveyday, I know it's not right but he's the only friend I have right now, My mother really likes Calvin she says he's very polite and handsome, he has brown hair, and hazel eyes. He came to our house today, he told me that he was leaving for a government meating about the basics of a union of the british north america provinces also as the father of confederation. I didn't quite get what he was talking about but I told him i did. -
Family Day
Today was a beautfuil day, My family and I went to town to get a break from all the work. My little sister stacy really wanted some ice cream but we didn't have any money, she got really upset, I wish I had money to buy her things, My family and I all went to the play ground that was close to the market, I was so happy seeing my sister having so much fun in the play ground. -
New friend
Today was a busy day, in the morning i had to chop off the grass because it was growing really long, and that took a long time, after I had to clean the house since my mother was really busy, After that I went back to town, it took forever to get there, when I finally got there I went to sit in the bench next to this girl, i wanted to make a new friend so I asked her what her name was, she told me her name was Victoria James, I told her my name she said it was beautfuil, she was really nice, -
Learning
Me and Victoria have been friends for a year now, she's been really nice to me, and she also helped me with the farm, since she knows everything, also she told me some tricks on how to make my farm better, and also she taught me how to write in cursive, she was really good, After that I told my little sister stacy everything Victoria taught me, Stacy was really happy to learn more. -
Winter days
It's been so cold lately since it's winter, I don't have a warm coat for the winter time, since they are so expensive and not many people can afford it. I didn't do much today, my sister and I went outside today to play with the snow, I was a little to old to play with snow, but I was always a child in heart, After that I went inside, and i cooked food for my family, and cleaned the house, my mom was really sick so she could not do anything. -
Better place.
My mother got really sick today, we took her to the doctor, the doctor told me that my mother was really dick and that she was on her last legs. I didn't understand at first, but then the doctor said that she has passed away. I burst into tears, because I didn't even get to say goodbye, My mother will never see me get married and she will never be a grandmother, but I know shes in a better place, and it would be so hard taking care of my siblings I didn't want to be all alone. -
A week since mother passed away.
It's been a week since my mother passed away, It was really hard telling my siblings, they all couldn't stop crying. I told them that mother was in a better place. My little sister Stacy asked if we could go visit her, I told her we could but not soon. The news really affected Johnathan and his drinking got so bad he was almost never sober. -
Vsitor
Today Calvin came over, he heard that my mother passed away. He said that she was in a better place now, and that she is not in pain anymore. He offered to give me money, but I refused. I need to be dependant and I don't need his HELP. I don't even know why he is helping us what did we ever do for him.? When I told him this he walked away, with a sad look in his eyes. I iemediately felt guitly, I wanted to stop him, to take it all back but he kept walking away. -
Big day for Johnthan
Today was a big day for my older brother Johnthan, because today he was getting married to a girl named elena, she is a family friend, My brother always liked her, and so did she. So I cleaned the house, because we were having a famaily dinner. I also made food, we invited family friends, and Victoria also came.I just wish my mother saw Jonhthan so handsome with his beautfuil new wife elena. I still remmeber him as a little boy playing in the farm, I know my mom would be proud of him. -
Victoria's Birthday
Today was Victoria's Birthday, she was turning 25 years old. She and I went to town becuse we wanted to get a few things since it was Victoria's birthday. I still had the money calvin gave me, so I got Victoria a pair of simple shoes, she loved them, she thanked me so man times. When I got home I had to cook food. And all the fruits were finshied, so I used some left over jam that we had. -
Amazing News
It was really cold today, I could not even go to the farm and pick up the fruits and vegetals since it was so cold. Elena helped me cook food, she was really sick so I told her she didn't need to help me out. Also today Johnthan told me that best news, he told me he got a job in the market, I was so , proud of him because he worked so hard to get in this job and so finally he did. And it was so nice, because now he can help the family. -
Grate news
It was really cold today, I could not even go to the farm and pick up the fruits and vegetals since it was so cold. Elena helped me cook food, she was really sick so I told her she didn't need to help me out. Also today Johnthan told me that best news, he told me he got a job in the market, I was so , proud of him because he worked so hard to get in this job and so finally he did. And it was so nice, because now he can help the family. -
Beautfuil dream
Today I didn't do much, I woke up very early because I had a nightmare about mother, she was helping me with the farm, and it was so nice seeing her again it seemed so vivid and real. When I woke up I started to cry beacuse I missed mother so much, and i never wanted to wake up from that beautfuil dream. I didn't want to wake anyone else since my sibilings and my father and I all share a room, because we cant afford a bigger house. My brother and his wife have thier own room. -
Daddy please don't leave us.
Today something horrbile happened, while I was sleeping I heard my father screaming and since we share a room I could hear him loudly so I woke up, and asked what was worng? He would not talk so i went and asked johnthan to wake up and take father to the doctor, I was so worried I could not stop crying, I didn't want to loose my father too. After Johnthan got ready he took father to the doctors. -
Goodbye Father
When Johnthan finally came home he was crying non stop. I asked what was wrong? I knew what he was going to say, i didn't want to hear it. He told me that father died becuase of old age, and that the doctors could not do anything about that, I could not stop crying it was just so hrad to take, I could not imagine father not being around anymore. It seemed like everyone around were dying. -
Don`t know what to do.
I didn't sleep at all today, i could not becuase I was thinking how bad life would be without father. And that we lost both of our parensts. I just didn't know what to do. After a while I made food for eveyone, no one said a word the whole time, I don't anyone was in the mood. My little Brother David was so mad. I asked what was wrong he told me that he was loosing everyone he was looking at old family pictures, I told david that he didn't loose me, and that I would always be there for him -
funeral
My brother Johnthan decided that we were having a funeral for my father. We invited family friends and victoria came, and so did calvin, we didn't talk he just said he was sorry. I don't even know how he knew we were having a funeral today. During the funeral david was crying so muchI felt so bad for him so I went up to him. I told him it was gonna be okay and that we would all reunite soon, he had a big smile on later on -
A few things for the market
I cleaned all the dirty clothes today it took forver, elena helped me. She did hers and Jonhthans, and I did the rest. Afer that I went back to town to get a few things for the farm, I really hope it is not expensive beacuse I wont be able to buy it. Ever since Johnthan started to work, he has been helping us more and more each day. When I was walking to get to the market I fell really badly, and I hurt my leg, it was bleeding so much. I had to go back home, and it was so far -
Visited Mother And Father
Today I went to my mothers and fathers graveyard, I missed so muchI really wanted to see them again. When I got there I told them about how Johnthan has been helping us a lot lately. And that elena is really sweet and helpfull. I was hoping they could hear me, I brought them water and red roses, I really didn`t want to leave them. -
Ruined
I helped Elena with the farm today, all the fruits were ruined because we would not afford the things for the fram to keep it nice. So we had to use some left over fruits and jam we had. My little brother david made a friend today, named Damon they were the family beside our house, I didn`t really like them, they are so rude to us after Mother and Father passed away. -
Snow day
It strated to snow today, I was so happy to see snow everywhere. I always loved snow even as a child. But when I was a child life was much easyer, because I had my Mother ad Father and I didn`t have to worry about anything. Also today I had to clean the house, and then Damon came to play with David. After a while Victoria came, I haven`t seen her in so long, we played with snow just like little children. -
New House
Today was an increble day what I will never forget. Johnthan told all of us that he bought a little house in town, I was so happy and proud, I could not believe that we would no longer live in this house. He saved his money all these years because he wanted to buy a house, I was so proud of him, and I know Mother and Father would be to., -
House
Today we got to see the house, it was so beautfuil, I shared a room with Stacy and David and Johnthan and Elena shared a room. I was really happy to see the house, and the market was really close so Johnthan didn`t have to walk so far to work. -
Finally Home
So today we moved into our new house, it was so hard to get everything wehad from our old house to our house. It was so far and we had to walk so much. When we got home we put everything in it`s place. I was so happy and exited, Stacy and David were so happy too. I was a litle worried that I would never see Victoria since she doesn`t know I moved out. -
life In Town
I thought moving to a new house was the best choice Johnthan ever made, But it wasn`t , it be came so much harder since we didn`t have a fram anymore, we had to buy fruits and vegetables, and we cant afford it. But Johnthan is trying really hard to fix everything. -
I miss everything
Today was a horrible day, In the morning we had no food or anything, we had no left over jam or fruits. I went to the market in the morning sinceit was so close our house. I got a few things that werent so expensive. I really did miss our oldl house. Also today I went to Mothers and Fathers garveyard , I was there for a long time I was talking to them how life was now, and that I really missed them.
