Yes, they are to be considered heroic due to the fact that these epics tell of the adventures that they embarked and the countless of struggles that they faced in order to be considered a ‘hero’. It shows that to be a hero, you must have qualities suited for a hero, such as courageousness, kindness, and benevolence and that they have these qualities for them to be considered a hero. -

How are tragic heroes "heroic"?
They are heroic in a sense that, in the face of danger, they are ready to put their life on the line for others; tragic in a sense that they have died while on this conquest. It goes to show that not all stories end happily and that in the face of fear, a hero does not face it without fear, but rather they are scared and frightened, yet still have the courage to do it. This is why they are to be considered ‘heroic’. -

These choices and construction of history is very important in creating the present and the future but it will not always come out exactly the way you imagined it to be. The past greatly affects how someone acts in a specific situation and how it will forever leave a mark once you have made a choice and you can never undo it. -
How powerful is respect unifying two opposing sides?
Respect between two opposing sides creates an unspoken treaty between the two. This treaty of respect is a clear statement that they will still fight among each other but will not allow foul play into it and only play fairly and justly. Respect between the two also leads to the peace between the nations and will not fight unless one of them has broken this barrier of respect.
