    On the magical second day of April back in 2006 , I blessed my parents with my appearance in the world :) Fun fact, I was born 3 weeks early!

    The festival culture was very abundant in Italy, it was almost like Halloween, but more common and a bit less dark and scary and gloomy.

    This was the beginning of my love for expression as a form of creativity, it fed into my love for art and inspired me to start dance even after I moved to America.

    Visiting my family in Ukraine every year during the summer was the highlight of growing up. My birthday wish each year was that my family could one day come to America.

    This was a very hard time in my life for me, I didn't seem to make any friends, didn't know the language, and on top of that had to now live tens of thousands of miles from Ukraine and Italy. So this is me with deer.

    This was a big step because like I said I felt very out of place and couldn't make any friends. Fortunately, by the end of first grade I had made a couple friends.

    Finding out about the Ukrainian community in Norridge was one of the best things to happen to me, I started making a bunch of friends and being culturally involved while I was at it!
  • Started taking Violin Lessons

    Started taking Violin Lessons
    This was a big part of my life. I grew a passion for playing the violin and actually saw myself doing it in the future, maybe at an opera (what a dream right)
  • Went to Ukraine during Winter Break !

    This was my first winter ever spent in Ukraine and I hold it close to my heart because I got to see the winter traditions like caroling and reenacting Jesus's birth.

    I loved Florida and it was so crazy to me as a young clueless girl that we drove from freezing Chicago to humid Florida, it was mind-boggling! This trip made me who I am because now a part of me feels like I belong in Florida, especially UMiami:)))

    Went paragliding (fearless)
    I cried before going paragliding, and then when I got off I said I wanted to go again, this taught me the valuable lesson to be fearless and never judge books by their covers.

    I fell in love with Croatia upon first arriving there, it was such a beautiful country and experience and became a yearly tradition for my family to go there very summer.

    I love my dog, she is like my mini me. When we got her, my mom didn't want a dog, and now she probably loves her the most. We've had her for 4 years now.

    When I went to Naples, a part of the littler girl in Italy woke up in me. It was such a calm, fun, and beautiful city and my favorite part was when there would be singers singing outside. I caught this picture of an old couple dancing.

    Masks everywhere, vaccines required, social distancing, staying home, remote learning, all this for 2 years almost. It took a BIG toll on me, and infused a sort of discourage in me.

    Graduated online!
    Graduating online seemed great at first, no work, no finals or tests to worry about, but if only I had known how bad COVID would get I wouldn't wish this upon anyone.

    I met up with my friend from Ukraine in the DR. It was a wonderful trip and was actually rescheduled from my birthday until November because of covid.
  • Spent my birthday with friends and family downtown (family-oriented)

    When covid was finally mostly over, I spent as much time with friends and family as possible, and it opened my eyes to how hard it was to be away from them and how happy they make me when we are together.

    That summer, after covid and everything else that was praying on our downfall, traveling with my friends cured a little bit of the homesickness. Tennessee was a beautiful state and one of my favorites.
  • Starting my job

    Starting my job
    Taught me a lot of skills about professionalism and how to manage my money and now I can't imagine not having a job, I love being financially independent and safe to say that is thanks to my job. (front desk)
