  • empathetic

I would describe myself as someone who can step into another's shoes, and see life from their perspective easily.
  • birth

    birth
I was born in the middle of the day in early August. I've always found it nice to have a summer birthday, because I never have to go to school, and its always warm.
  • passionate

When it comes to something I have a lot of interest in pursuing, like Theatre or Acting, I consider myself to be a very passionate person when it comes to my involvement and dedication to those art forms.

    first play (2nd grade)
The first theatre production I was a part of was the Wizard of Oz in second grade, where I played a munchkin who had one line (I still remember it!). This moment launched me into my theatre career and into a new art form I've learned to love and appreciate.
  • starting irish dance

    starting irish dance
The day I started Irish Dance was completely accidental. I was signed up for a different dance workshop, but forgot the room number my ballet workshop was assigned to, and instead walked into the Irish Dance room. I fell in love with this dance form from the first few steps learned, and it's been a part of my life ever since.

    winning my first dance competition
This day will always be engraved in my mind. I was in a crowded hotel ballroom, looking at the result board, waiting for my name to pop up. When I heard my number get called after the words, "In first place" I couldn't believe it. It's a moment I'll never forget.

    started appreciating music
Music is a huge part in my life. I'm always found with my AirPods in my ears. I had listened to music before, but never found anything I liked until I heard The Smashing Pumpkins' song "Cherub Rock" When I was 12 years old. After that, I listened to every 90's rock band I could get my pre-teen hands on (Which was limited to Nirvana, Beastie Boys, Smashig Pumpkins, Foo Fighters, Radiohead, 311, and Hole) I still listen to all of those bands today!

getting my first lead in a play
I left my auditions for Peter Pan feeling disappointed. My friends were still texting me after I left the theatre telling me to not be discouraged, and that I did amazing. I had to wait an agonizing week and a half until I saw my name on the cast list, paired with the character of Peter Pan. I couldn't believe I had gotten the lead until the first rehearsal, where I was pushed to be the best performer I could be. I learned so much from that role, and 'm grateful for the experiences I had.
  • first concert

    first concert
I went to my first concert just recently, in the last year. It was a rap concert, and a few friends managed to drag me with them. In the last year, I've been to four other concerts or music festivals, so I have my friends to thank for introducing me to live music

    first dance tour
Me and my dance troupe went to Wisconsin on a dance tour, and I also celebrated my sweet 16 with a suprise party from my dance group.

    dance tour to Belgium
I could talk about this tour for hours, but in a sentence or two, we headlined a dance festival in Europe that was hosted in Belgium. I made some really cool friends from dance groups from all over the world there, and I had some of the best food I've had in my life. It was a really great moment.
  • The Moors

    The Moors
The fall play this year at Taft meant so much to me because I grew so much as an actress. I experienced things written in the script that I had never dealt with, so there were many moments where I had to ask questions or experiment quite a bit. It was a really fun show, too!
