This one of the first pieces of portable technology that I remember
-
I remember the first tv I saw to be extremely large at the back.
-
Computers were large and I recall watching my parents on one and being amazing by what you could do
-
I never got to play on this because my brothers would not let me but I remember I loved how you could open it and put the disk in
-
My favourite video was the Little Mermaid, It did not even cross my mind that there would ever be anything better and smaller than a VCR
-
This was my favourite game. Looking back at it now it did not do much but at the time there was nothing better
-
I still remember when mum and dad came home with a DVD player. It had a tray with six dvd spots and underneath it a VCR player
-
Mum had a Nokia phone that I loved because you could play Snake on it and make your own ringtones by pressing the buttons
-
They were very compact and easy to use, but I struggled to put the music on there and had to get my brothers to do it for me
-
The first USB I had was for school when we started to use computers more often and I needed to work on my power points at home.
-
Instead of posting letters my parents would send off an email. I could not comprehend how it went from one computer to another
-
This was a great way to connect to friends and family
-
At the time the best thing about bluetooth was being able to send friends pictures on your phone, even though it did not work half the time
-
A touch screen phone was always intriguing, but being able to download apps on your phone was above and beyond anything I could imagine. Since having an iPhone 3 i have never used any other phone
-
This was even better than a mp3 player. I could now see what I was listening to and scroll though playlists. I was also able to put the music on myself.
-
Being able to access the Internet on your Tv seemed pointless until networks introduced catch up apps. Now its great.
-
I can now watch Movies and Tv series when ever I want by paying a small amount each month
-
I do not own one but I find it amazing that you can have all that technology on your wrist
