My name is Emilie M. Ausúa Figueroa, born on January 6, 1999, in San Juan Puerto Rico. My biological parents are called Israel Ausúa and Lilibeth Figueroa.

I am from Quebrada Ceiba de Peñuelas. It is there where I grew up from an early age. A small and cozy town.

My foster parents are Edwin Figueroa Pérez and Carmen Santos Quiñones. They both raised me since I was 2 years old; family problems.

I have always loved playing volleyball, but I was never in a team because I did not have the economic resources.

I have been the altar serving for 5 years and 10 months in the parish of San José de Peñuelas. It is here where I was able to grow spiritually at the altar.

I met my boyfriend 4 years ago in the church San Jose de Peñuelas, both being altar servers.

As I entered tenth grade, I decided to enter the trade program because there is more opportunity to acquire more knowledge and grow both personally and professionally.

At the beginning of April I worked in the Open House of the trade program to help the teacher to make a presentation about the program and to deliver a brochure.

My interest in criminology began in my second year of high school. After looking for information from a university career that will align with me. As a criminology I can do research that helps to clarify the scenes of the crimes.

On my first day of school I was a little nervous with fear that I was going to make mistakes, and also knowing that everything was going to be different.
