  • My Birth

    My Birth
Well to start off, I was born on the hottest day of the year (which may or may not say a lot about me). I came into this word at around 8:00 with a lot of my family members present. I will never hear the end of the complaints by them about the unusually high decibel measure of my crying when I came out. That same day I went home walking with my family in a stroller, still crying, however I would think that I was taking in the scenery and observing.
  • First Day Of School

    First Day Of School
This was a horrific day for everyone. I couldn't take the anxiety I experienced from being apart from my mother for the first time, my mother could not get me out of the car, My teachers couldn't get me to stop crying, and I almost killed a goldfish that was in our classroom. It seems like a day that I was way too young to remember it, but I remember that gloomy day like it was last week. This was the first moment that I was faced with any sort of independence
  • My Discovery

    My Discovery
One day I was in the basement of my apartment with and I stumbled upon a guitar. Music was always something that was all around me because my parents were musicians that frequently got invited to play at church events, services and concerts. I was intrigued by many instruments but the one that caught my eye the most was the guitar. So when I saw the guitar that curiosity sparked something that has driven me up to this day. I wanted to play music just like my parents do.
  • My Best Friend

    My Best Friend
His name is Alan. We met when my family decided to move to a different church (for reasons I was never made aware of) and we decided to try this church called Cross-way Church. Alan's parents, like my own, played music their whole lives. So after a few weeks, my family and his kind of just ended up playing music together every Sunday. But me and Alan developed a bond the first day we met. This bond has stayed in tact from then, through high School (we both went to Brewster and he just graduated)

    Eye-Opener
Me and my friend Alan grew so close that our families began to grow closer too. So Alan's family invited us to go to their vacation beach house in Maine.I had never been an outdoors kind of kid, so I didn't like the Idea. But when we got there I was enraptured by the fresh smell of pine and sea, the scenery, wooden house and serene atmosphere. I had never felt so free in my life. There is just and overwhelming sense of peace and adventure as soon as you arrive. It changed my view on the outdoors.
  • Welcome To Brewster

    Welcome To Brewster
My family had finally saved up to prepare for the purchase of the new house. I had been wanting to live in a house (As opposed to an apartment) for about 5 years. I would always spend my spare time searching online for affordable houses in New York. But our real-estate agent found us the perfect house, it wasn't too big or too small, has a nice view, and a lot of space to do things we love to do. However we spent our first night there sleeping on the floor due to the moving truck breaking down.
  • My First Musical Performance

    My First Musical Performance
I had practiced for weeks to be prepared for the moment that I shred on those strings for the first time. I had been very nervous about such a large group of people watching me play because I didn't realize it wasn't about me. As soon as the music team was called up to the stage I started to sweat profusely. I only thought of how I could mess a really simple song up. I couldn't bare the anxiety until the moment I grabbed my guitar. I was focused, I was ready, and I knew what to do.
  • My Other Best Friend

    My Other Best Friend
My neighbor, who is a firehouse worker, rescued a pregnant cane corso mastiff. After about a week she had the babies and so they decided to give the puppies away. When my mom heard of this, she was convinced we wanted one. My dad argued that the 2 dogs we have are already handfuls but once my mom makes up her mind, there's no going back. So we picked one of the puppies that was the lightest one of the bunch, with unusually floppy ears, a goofy demeanor, and an overly characteristic personality.
  • First Football Game

    First Football Game
After months of being smacked around and worked like an ox in my first year of any contact sport, I thought I was not prepared for what was going to happen in my first game. I was nervous for weeks and my mind played all different kinds of scenarios that could happen. I was excited in such an anxious way, it was something that I hadn't experienced before. However when game-day came, I served as a bench-warmer for the whole game. That feeling of failure gave me all the motivation I needed...
  • My Girlfriend

    My Girlfriend
My girlfriend is the the first person that I met in Brewster. The first words she said to me were "Hi, i saw you move in!" with a cheery tone. I was a bit creeped out, but I was dismayed at how a pretty girl came up to me and talked to me first. So we came to be best-friends for years, but I always had a discrete crush on her. One day I built up the courage to tell her I like her, and was told that I was in the friend-zone and there was no escaping. But years later, I managed to win her over.
