After the war, Egypt and Syria launched an attack against Israel because they were determined to get their land back. Israel fought in the war along with the United States but both sides of the war soon agreed to a cease-fire. -

This happened when the OPEC refused to sell oil to countries supporting Israel. The price of oil increased everywhere as a result. -
Camp David Accords
An agreement reached by Sadat and Begin. This made Egypt recognize Israel, and Israel returned the Sinai Peninsula to Egypt. -
Intifada
This was a rebellion of Palestinian resentment of Israel. These two nations fought but relations between the Israeli and Palestinian leadership soured.
