    Description- Israel declared independence, Egypt, Jordan, Labanon, Syria, and Iraq attacked Israel. Outcome- Israel gained land. Egypt gained the Gaza stip and Jordan gained the west bank. Hundreds of thousands of Palestinians and Jews became refugees.

    Settlement Construction Begins
    Description: Israeli government building settlements to act as outposts and cites for Jewish villages. Outcome: There were 3,200 settlers from the orginal people, but now there are about 300,000 more. However, there is still mroe conflict between the Palestinians.

    Description- Egypt and Syria intiliated the war with a bombing from Yom Kippur forcing Tsrael to rienforce the war strategies. Outcome- Israelis regained captured land.

    Duration: June 5-June 10 Description: Egypt blockaded Israel. Egypt, Jordan, Syria & Iraq moved troops to Israel's borders and made threatening statements. Israel launched a preemptive strike. Outcome: Israel captured the West Bank and East Jerusalem from Jordan, the Golan Heights from Syria, and the Gaza Strip and all of the Sinai Peninsula from Egypt. More Palestinians and Jews became refugees. Terrorism became more common.

    Description- The constant attacks from the PLO were attempts to wear down and overthrow King Husseh. Outcome- No land was exchanged and there was no abvious victor.

    Description: Egypt was the first country to recognize the endless violence between them and made a peace agreement. Outcome: Israel returned all the sinai back to Egypt and removed Jewish families from their established homes.

    Description- PLO units in Lebanon attacked Israel communities initiating a launched attack back on Lebanon starting a war. Outcome- Dragged Israel into Lebanons war but Israel withdrew from Lebanon and continued to repel terrorist attacks.

    Duration: 1987-1993 Description: Palestinians from the Gaza Strip attack Israel with weapons provided by the PLO along with suicide attacks. This was an attack organized by the PLO. Outcome: Both Palestinians and Israelis suffered about the same amount of casualties. Some believed the Israel's military reaction was too harsh, while other thought it was too lax.

    Description- A set of aggrements between the PLO and Israel. Israel gave some U.S. states up for security. Outcome- The PLO accepted peace between them and Israel.

    Description: The United States led both Egypt and Israel to sign a peace treaty between each other. Outcome: Trade, buisness, relations, cultural exchange, etc. have increased between the two ever since then.

    Description- The president Bill Clinton brought Israeli prime minister to camp david to negotiate a final status aggrement . Outcome- It was reported that the bank made major concessions and the goal was not acheived and further conflict ensued.

    Duration: 2000-2005 Description: Israel General Ariel Sharon provoked the Palestinians by visiting a Jewish Temple. The act of doing this started a riot. Outcome: Israelies were terrorized with suicide bombers. The peace process failed and both sides suffered casualties.

    Description: A peace initiative was signed between Arab States and Saudi Arabia. It offered peace for Israel. Outcome: Israel accepted it but does not agree with all of it. Israel really doesn't like the borders it insists thought.

    Definition- Israel builds a security barrior seperating citizens from terrorists. Outcome- It has affected people that study of work on the other side but when true peace somes it will be taken down.

    Description: The separation of Israel from Palestine. Israel withdrew from West Bank. Outcome: It didn't require removal of all citizens but people did not want to leave.

    Description- Palestinians elected Hamas members to the Palestine Authority's legislature. Outcome- Wstern nations imposed sanctions ans suspended aid. They will lift htam once Hamas recognize Israels right to exist.

    Duration: July 12-August 14 Description: Hezbollah is a radical Islam organization that wants to destroy Israel. Outcome: Lost civilian lives and a lot of property.

    Descrption- The Hamas attacked Fatah members in Gaza. Outcome- Palestinian governments dissolved the Hamas government.

    Duration: December 27, 2008-January 18, 2009 Description: Israel attacked Hamas in Gaza to try and stop rocket attaks. Outcome: Hundreds were killed and many civilians were killed. This war was also known as the Gaza Massacre.

    Description: After Hamas got power, Israel& Egypt blockaded themselves. Outcome: This led to a severe alternation in the relationship between Israel and Turkey. They're no longer allies.

    Description: The Arab states began to protest against aristocratic governments. Outcome: The long-term impact of ongoing changes is not yet clear.
  • The road map for peace is proposed

    The road map for peace is proposed
    Description- The U.S., UN, Europe, and Russia signed a peace treaty. It shows that they want an idependent Plaestine. Outcome- Negotiation between Israel and Palestine now are possible. There has yet to be significant progress as a result.
