    Starting To Read & Write

My earliest memory of starting to be literate was really in kindergarten. I didn't finish pre-k, so majority of my learning experience was later on. At this time, we were having different stations and that was either listening to the audio of books or in a group table with our teacher, taking turns to read. This was also my earliest memory of doing spelling tests.

    AP Lang

This was probably one of the most significant moments in my life that affected my literacy. I was challenged in my reading, writing, and speaking although there were still a good amount of enjoyable moments. I learned so much about my own abilities and the proper way of writing and speaking in English.

    Now

Everyday I learn more and more on the way I speak and write, especially in my work and school environment. Working at a doctor's office helped a lot in the way I speak. I catch myself outside of work as well speaking in the "professional" way that is meant to be spoken at in professional settings. Writing classes has been such a helpful resource in my thoughts and writing, and escalated my skills.
